History of 3d painting And its progress

The 3D painting did not appear at once. the 3d painting evolution is the result of experience by different artists. the history is divided into two parts.

The first part is the emergence of modern 3D paintings. When the artists realized that the images could draw in another way and the painting could only be seen from a certain angle.

The second part of the evolution is the 3d painting connection of painting with the environment. the result is forming 3d scene shaped. This is the second part of the emergence of 3D art. In the following, we will explain the history of these two parts.

The origin of the art of 3d painting

Follow the first explanation about 3D art and its origins. We divided the art of 3D printing and its history into two parts.

The first part, anamorphic design, is a more general topic. This means that 3D art is a subset of anamorphic design.

anamorphic design; Introduction The emergence of this fascinating art

The history of this type of design dates back to the Renaissance

These elongated and perhaps inadvertent paintings are called anamorphic designs. Artists at the time were trying to get to know the perspective accurately. These artists wanted to depict what the eye sees from a particular angle on a different screen.

The result of this effort is the creation of special paintings that is elongated. The history of this artistic technique is availble in the book Anamorphic Art with several examples.

How 3d paintings create?

The second period belongs to the twentieth century. Of course, the greatest progress and evolution of 3D design and metamorphic painting occurred after the nineties decade. 3d painting has a different world with 3d space. The birth of this art began with street paintings. Ever since street artists have been painting in the streets to raise money as a source of income. These paintings were mostly done with chalk pastels. The use of chalk pastels in street paintings became common from that period. This is still a common tradition. Even today, a large number of 3d pastel paintings are painted on the ground. Working with chalk pastels was very easy for artists. After finishing the painting, they could erase it. In this way, the surface of the pavement would not be damaged.

It usually took half a day for artists to paint. People passing by the neighborhood spent time with these paintings. They also paid a donation and assistance to the artist. This continued until the contemporary era. Until less attention was paid to this style of street art. It replaced by street painting festivals. But the works still did with chalk. In these festivals, artists did not have much opportunity to perform their paintings. Maybe one or two days to paint their work a few meters away.

In 1995, some of the leading artists in the field began to test anamorphic design. They tried to find a connection between the painting and the ground. The works that these artists painted on the ground were the same paintings that they painted on the canvas with smaller dimensions. The large size on the ground made the artifacts look compact and blurry. (This means that when you look at an image from the side, it is not clear. It looks compact.) So using the anamorphic or metamorphic design technique was a very smart idea.

Street painters put a lot of effort into Testing  Relationship between viewing angle, ground, and painting. This effort led to the first 3d paintings we know today.

The world’s first 3D painting

The first example of 3d painting is ambassadors painting by Hans Holbein. In 1533 he painted a strange painting called The Ambassadors with an incomprehensible part at the bottom. the incomprehensible part was viewable from a certain angle

But anamorphic painting did not come into being all at once with 3d space. So it is not possible to mention a particular artist as the creator of the first 3d painting. the Dutch painter Kurt Weener the Dutch painter is the pioneer of this art. He painted his first metamorphic painting in the late 1980s. Other artists have contributed to the growing development of this art and have promoted this art as much as possible. The most famous of them, who is still working, is Julien Beaver. His nickname is Picasso‘s pedestrian.

English artist Julian Beever had a very important role in introducing anamorphic painting. He performed works with which the ordinary audience had more contact. Julien introduced 3D Street Art to a wider audience.

Other artists also played an important role in the development of this style. Manfred Steder, Joe Hill, Leon Keer, and Tracy Lee Stum worked hard to advance the art. These artists did a lot of work from 2005 to 2010. The art became so popular that it found special festivals. 3d painting had a section at the street art festival
