SALSO Design Studio is a small agile creative agency founded by Saleh Sokhandan in 2010, offering a wide range of design services. Our primary work concentrated on optical illusions. We used optical illusion techniques mainly in decoration, advertising, and entertainment.
With a rich background in visual design, engineering, and technology, SALSO has crafted a truly unique journey. This diverse experience, combined with our passionate dedication, has enabled us to create hundreds of artworks and develop dozens of theme parks and museums.

Who is Saleh Sokhandan?
Saleh Sokhandan, a renowned artist, is acclaimed for his pioneering work in the field of illusion art. His pieces, displayed in international galleries and museums, stand out for their bold use of color, rich textures, and inventive incorporation of found objects and unconventional materials. Notably, Sokhandan is particularly known for his striking 3D illusions, frequently utilizing abstract forms to challenge and redefine viewers’ perceptions of space. Throughout his career, he has continually sought to push creative boundaries and explore new forms of artistic expression.
Saleh, with his engineering background, has a deep appreciation for both technology and art. This blend of interests is evident in the unique works he’s produced, evolving from initial sketches to finished projects over time.
His artistic journey began with graphic design and painting in 2006. While studying electrical engineering in college, he discovered optical illusions [ a field that merged his dual interests ] in 2010. In the early days, Saleh focused on 3D street art and drawings. Over the past decade, he has built a portfolio of hundreds of projects, skillfully integrating diverse techniques from the design phase through to construction.
